Akshay Sethi is a President at Ayna and the Chief Transformation Officer at Dabico Airport Solutions, where he is leading the effort to create the next Aviation GSE (ground support equipment) franchise. He focuses on overall planning, organizational design and changes, execution of key value drivers, and M&A.
Akshay is a former Associate Partner and leader in the Industrial Practice at McKinsey. In his 10-year career at McKinsey, starting in the Mumbai and then Chicago office, he advised clients on margin improvement and growth strategy —with focus on pricing, commercial excellence, and product development. In his last 5 years, Akshay has led commercial transformations for his clients in the industrial, industrial technology and semiconductor space
He has published several McKinsey publications, including Value Creation in Industrials (Nov 2022) and Flow control: Sector at a crossroads, (Jul 2019).
Akshay began his career as a Senior Associate in syndicated loans and debt capital markets at DBS Bank in Singapore, Singapore’s largest banking and financial services company.
He holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB), India, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.
