The Practice Heads bring extensive experience in their respective fields, along with a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of delivering high-impact results.
Dinesh Chopra, Head of Industrials
Dinesh is a seasoned industry executive with 25 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, and private equity/venture capital roles. He has strong expertise in building products, industrial services, and semiconductor manufacturing particularly in product development, growth & optimization, innovation, and digitization. Most recently, he was Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer of Ally Financial. Previously he has held leadership roles at McKinsey, Citi and Capital One.
Vineet Gupta, Head of Semiconductor
Prior to Ayna, Vineet was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he advised clients in the technology, semiconductor, electronics, and industrial sectors on end-to-end margin transformations. Vineet was one of the leaders in the industrial “accelerated performance transformation” service line.
Parthesh Shastri, Head of Digital
Parthesh is an experienced technology leader with expertise in scaling data platforms across various industries, including industrial, eCommerce, medical, and automotive. With a proven track record of driving technology transformations, he previously led operations for IIoT startups, culminating in a profitable exit with Autodesk. As an early team member of the AWS third-party merchant platform, he brings deep understanding of complex systems and large-scale operations.
Mohit Jaju, Head of Operations Excellence
A former Associate Partner at McKinsey, Mohit led operations strategy and margin transformation initiatives, focusing on procurement, operational efficiencies, and organizational excellence. He has advised clients across Chicago, Sydney, and Houston during his 6-year tenure at McKinsey. Before that, he held engineering leadership roles at Schlumberger (now SLB), gaining deep expertise in manufacturing and supply chain within industrial operations.
Akshay Sethi, Head of Commercial Excellence
Akshay brings a decade of experience from McKinsey, where he focused on growth strategy, pricing, and product development. He has led commercial transformations in the industrial, industrial technology, and semiconductor spaces, helping clients improve margins and drive growth.
Stephen Sonenshine, Head of Transactions and M&A
Stephen joined Ayna from BDO, where he was a Partner in their Transaction Advisory Services practice. With a career spanning over 300 transactions across public accounting firms, including Deloitte and PwC, Stephen’s deep expertise in mergers and acquisitions makes him an invaluable asset to the firm.
